Privacy Policy

RecipeScan is published by ZTABS (PRIVATE) LIMITED. The RecipeScan iOS app is designed to work without an account and to keep scans on your device.

Data the iOS App Processes

When you take a photo or choose one from your photo library, RecipeScan uses Apple's on-device Vision technology to recognize text and classify the image. The app does not upload scan images, recognized text, or scan results to RecipeScan servers.

If you save scan history, the image and result are stored locally in the app's private storage on your device. You can erase all saved history at any time from Settings. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data, subject to normal iOS backup behavior controlled by you and Apple.

Camera and Photo Library Access

Camera access is used only when you choose to take a scan. Photo library access is used only when you choose an existing image. RecipeScan does not scan your library in the background.

Data We Do Not Collect in the App

No account, name, email address, or precise location
No advertising identifier, cross-app tracking, or third-party advertising
No app analytics SDK or marketing profile
No payment or subscription data in version 1.0
No health profile or dietary preference data

Website

When you visit recipescam.com, the hosting provider may process standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp to operate and secure the site. The site does not use advertising trackers. If you contact us, we use the information in your message only to answer your request.

Apple Services

Apple may process App Store downloads, crash reports, diagnostics, and iCloud device backups under your Apple settings and Apple's privacy policy. RecipeScan does not receive personally identifying scan content through those services.

Children

RecipeScan is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app's food and nutrition output is informational and is not medical advice.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes will be reflected here before the related feature is released.
